Earth Day Cleanup At Conkey Corner Park from 9 to 1 p.m.

 

April 10, 2009

 

Genesee Land Trust announces a spring cleanup at the newly created Conkey Corner Park located at the corner of Conkey and Clifford Avenues in the City of Rochester on Wednesday, April 22 from 9 to 1 p.m. Led by Tom Frey, Genesee Land Trust board member, and Broccolo Tree & Lawn Care, the company who installed the garden and worked with neighborhood schools last fall, work will include litter pick up, mulching and tending flower beds. The Conkey Corner Park is a City of Rochester and Genesee Land Trust Project. Genesee Land Trust is the local land preservation organization which was founded in 1989.  It currently protects 3200 acres in the Greater Rochester area.
