Raffle Winners Get Free Tickets The Backyard Habitat Tour
Carol and Keith Boas of Fairport and Brad and Barb Higgins of Penfield, who recently attended Gardenscape, the Greater Rochester Flower Show, have learned that they are winners of free tickets to the Backyard Habitat Tour. The Genesee Land Trust fundraiser, which takes place on June 20th from 9 to 4, is a self-guided, self-paced garden tour that teaches how to landscape to attract and protect wildlife. Begun in 2003, the annual event has steadily grown in popularity with 400 people coming from as far away as Syracuse. This year’s tour will feature properties in Brighton, Henrietta, Pittsford and Fairport. The ticket price remains the same: $12 for members of Genesee Land Trust and $15 for non members. Tickets will go on sale in May. Congratulations to this year’s free ticket winners!
