Local Attorney Joins Genesee Land Trust Board

George Parker, a non-profit community development attorney, was recently elected to the Genesee Land Trust board of directors, Mr. Parker has a long history of interest in preserving open spaces and in construction of affordable housing and has joined the Trust board with great enthusiasm. Parker has served for six years on the wetlands committee of the local chapter of the Sierra Club, and he is a nine year member of the Forum on Affordable Housing and Community Development Law of the American Bar Association. At the Genesee Land Trust, he serves on the Land Protection Committee. “George’s expertise and great enthusiasm for our land protection work make him a wonderful addition to our board,” says Gay Mills, executive director of the local non-profit.”
