Genesee Land Trust’s Salmon Creek Paddle Takes Place July 9th at 5PM

 

Salmon Creek Paddle

 

Manitou Beach Preserve is along Salmon Creek at Braddock Bay. Made up of freshwater, cattail marsh. Part of a large wetland complex extending through the Towns of Parma and Greece into Lake Ontario. Nesting habitat for NYS Endangered Species, Black Tern.

 

Join Jamie Spiller, former board member of Genesee Land Trust,  for a paddle along the Salmon Creek Preserve and other protected lands along the creek. Bring your own canoe or kayak, or make arrangements to rent from Braddock Bay Paddlesports, at 585-392-2628 or on their website www.paddlingny.com. Directions: Take Lake Ontario State Parkway west. Exit at Manitou Beach Road and go south. At Manitou Road turn left. Meet at 372 Manitou Road on your left. Saturday, July 9, 5:00 PM
