5K Walk @ El Camino Saturday, June 3, 2017 -- 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Start and finish at Conkey Corner Park
Celebrate the 5th anniversary of El Camino!  A day of healthy, family fun at Conkey Corner Park and El Camino. Choose from a 5K, 2.5K, or 1K walk along the streets, sidewalks and trails of the El Camino neighborhood. Registration begins at 8:00 AM and entertainment begins at 9:00 AM at Conkey Corner Park. The walk will be dedicated to Tom Frey, Genesee Land Trust board member. All proceeds will benefit the extension of the Thomas R. Frey Trail at El Camino.

Registration Fees:

$5.00 per individual
$10.00 per family
$20.00 per group (max 10 people in a group)

Participants who are traveling to Conkey Corner Park by car can park behind Fashion Works at 200 Clifford Avenue. Carpooling is encouraged. Participants can also travel to Conkey Corner Park by bus on either the 35 St. Paul Blvd. line or the 37 Clinton Ave. line.
Annual Members Gathering and Celebration Thursday, June 15, 2017 -- 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Gather with friends, neighbors, and volunteers to celebrate local land conservation and connections to nature at the recently protected Stebbins & Pepper Family Farm. Come learn about the farm and Genesee Land Trust. Refreshments provided. This is a rain or shine event.

Backyard Habitat Tour Saturday, June 24, 2017 -- 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Rochester, Brighton, and Penfield
A stress-free day of gardening bliss! Explore eight unique gardens in Rochester, Brighton, and Penfield that focus on gardening in harmony with nature and wildlife. You will receive a beautiful guidebook with detailed directions to each garden, photos, and stories written by the gardeners themselves. Highlights of this year's tour will include an artistically designed urban oasis, a sustainable self-reliant suburban farm, and a rural property with beautiful, diverse native plantings and fish pond.

Tickets are $15 or $12 for Genesee Land Trust members. Tickets available online here, by mail, and at Wegmans 'That's the Ticket' centers in mid-May. On the day of the Tour, tickets can be purchased until noon at Wegmans.
