Genesee Land Trust

Genesee Land Trust preserves and protects natural lands and waterways that enhance the quality of life in the Greater Rochester region - providing wildlife habitat, locally grown food, and connections to nature.

The Land Trust does so by acquiring property or development rights and by assisting government agencies, individuals, and private groups with their own land protection efforts.

Working in Monroe and Wayne Counties, and portions of Ontario, Genesee, Livingston, and Orleans Counties, we preserve land that includes native plant and wildlife habitat, wetlands, farmland, waterways, and scenic and recreational areas. Learn More >>

Capital Campaign

A Campaign to Preserve a North Coast Treasure will provide resources to permanently protect special lands in the Greater Rochester region.
