The Genesee River is the life source of Rochester and the surrounding communities. An alliance was born recently due to growing interest in improving the river corridor and engaging neighborhoods along the way. The Genesee River Alliance creates connections and partnerships between neighbors, organizations, businesses, and other river stakeholders to help protect and gain access to the river along the length of the city of Rochester.
