Location: Town of Walworth, Wayne County
Size: 167 acres
Description: Extensive apple orchards on rolling hills as well as small stands of peach and some strawberries. Several small woodlots and open fields are interspersed between different aged orchards.
History: A conservation easement was granted by Dave and Diane Wilbert to Genesee Land Trust and the Town of Walworth in 2008. The purchase of this conservation easement was funded by grants from the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets Farmland Protection Program and the Federal Farm and Ranchlands Protection Program of the Natural Resources Conservation Service.
