Description: The property is separated into two use areas, an Open Space Area, and a Natural Resource Area. The Open Space Area spans roughly 6-acres of agricultural land, which is currently being leased by a local farmer for soybeans and corn production. The Natural Resource Area covers approximately 20-acres of early successional northern woodland forest including the headwaters of Otis Creek, an important tributary to Braddock Bay. The canopy tree species include an excellent diversity of hardwood species, while the understory is comprised of dogwoods, nannyberry, and non-native invasive shrubs including multiflora rose, privet, and honeysuckle.
