Our Work Party this month is at Cornwall Preserve in Williamson. We will cut a new trail, install some split rail fence, remove invasive plants from the meadow, and pick up trash. Cornwall Preserve is one of our newest conservation lands and the parking lot is located at 3975 Lake Road in Williamson.
Work Parties are family friendly volunteer events that help keep our protected lands enjoyable places—for you and local plants and animals. Tasks often include mulching trails, picking up trash, clearing trails, removing invasive plants, and more. We make sure that everyone has a job that they are able to do. We’ll bring the tools for the job and snacks for you. For more information, email Kevin at kfarrell@geneseelandtrust.org.
