Join Nature Strollers on a nature discovery hike aimed at families with young children. Making use of stroller-friendly trails, we will introduce babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and their siblings to the beauty and wildlife at Genesee Land Trust’s most accessible trails and preserves. Parents, caregivers, and grandparents will learn alongside their little ones and find out how to make nature study an enriching family pursuit. Hikes will be short with lots of stops for investigation, play, and discovery. Our first stroll will be at the City of Rochester’s Thomas R. Frey Trail at El Camino. We will meet at Conkey Corner Park (parking available at 214 Clifford Ave).
Bring water, snacks, sunscreen, and insect repellent. Hikes are suitable for regular strollers and jogging strollers. Toddlers and preschoolers will enjoy walking these easy trails. Babies may also be worn in slings or infant carriers.
Laurel Dodge and Regina Geames will share their love of the great outdoors and natural places of our region.
