June 1st is National Trails Day! To celebrate, the El Camino neighborhood gathers for a family-friendly, 5K walk on the Thomas R. Frey Trail at El Camino. To prepare for this event, Genesee Land Trust and REI Co-op will spend Friday cleaning up the trail so it's in tip-top shape for Saturday.

We will focus on trash pick-up, weeding garden beds, trimming bushes, and more. We’ll meet at Conkey Corner Park at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 31st. Parking is available next door, at 214 Clifford Street, just east of Conkey Corner Park. Closed-toed shoes and a water bottle are recommended. If you have a favorite pair of garden or work gloves, please bring them.

Genesee Land Trust and REI Co-op will provide work gloves, tools, trash bags, water, and lunch.
