Trail Keepers visit Brookdale Preserve in Chili this month to work on a variety of projects including cutting brush from trails, widening trails, and removing invasive shrubs from around the farm pond. This 275-acre nature preserve is home to a number of unique plant and animal species and was acquired by the land trust in 1998.
All ages and ability levels are encouraged to sign up; there will be a job for everyone. Please dress appropriately for working outdoors (sturdy footwear, long pants, sun protection). We suggest you bring a water bottle and work gloves. Tools and snacks will be provided.
To attend you must sign up below. Please do not attend if you are not feeling well. There are only 15 spots available for this event. An email reminder will be sent the week of the event with directions and parking details. Contact Kevin Farrell at kfarrell@geneseelandtrust.org with questions.
In accordance with the latest CDC guidance, masks are optional for fully vaccinated attendees. Please continue to be respectful of other attendees and social distance where it’s possible to do so. We know there are varying levels of comfort with these changes and ask for your patience while we navigate this transition together.We will also practice social distancing while together.
