Update: Both the 10am and 11:30am walks have reached capacity. Stay tuned for info for the next Mile-a-Month walk.
Genesee River Alliance and partner Greentopia are inviting you to join us for a second mile in the Mile-A-Month series of walks! On this 1.3-mile tour, you’ll learn about Rochester's historic industrial development and eco district and see amazing views of Rochester’s High Falls from two bridges. Get updates on ROC the Riverway projects and learn about exciting happenings at High Falls!
This is a guided family-friendly/pet-friendly walk. All ages and abilities are encouraged to join us. Strollers are also welcomed. Light refreshments will be provided at the end of the walk.
There are two start times, one at 10am and the other at 11:30am. Each walk is 60 minutes, and there are 20 spots available for each tour. Free parking is available at High Falls Garage located at 262 State Street. We will meet at Granite Mills Park, 82 Brown’s Race. Contact Helen Dumas at hdumas@geneseelandtrust.org with questions.
In accordance with the latest CDC guidance, masks are optional for fully vaccinated attendees. Please continue to be respectful of other attendees and social distance where it’s possible to do so. We know there are varying levels of comfort with these changes and ask for your patience while we navigate this transition together.
