Join Genesee Land Trust for a weekend work party at Hipp Brook Preserve in Penfield. This beautiful 94 acre preserve is mostly wetland with approximately ½ mile of trails and boardwalks. We will work on a variety of projects including trail mulching, trimming vegetation, and trash pickup.
All ages and ability levels are encouraged to sign up, there will be a job for everyone. Please dress appropriately for working outdoors (sturdy footwear, long pants, sun and insect protection). We suggest you bring a water bottle and work gloves. Tools and snacks will be provided.

In accordance with the latest CDC guidance, masks are optional for fully vaccinated attendees. Please continue to be respectful of other attendees and social distance where it’s possible to do so. About Work Parties
Work Parties are family-friendly weekend events where volunteers work alongside Genesee Land Trust staff on trail and habitat improvement projects. If you’ve got some time on the weekends and an interest in giving back to your local conservation lands we invite you to join in on the work party fun.
