Genesee Land Trust received $250 from ExtremeTerrain through their Clean Trail Initiative Program. The Clean Trail Initiative Program helps fund trail improvement projects, including trail clean-up, restoration, and expansion.

Genesee Land Trust will use the funds at Cornwall Preserve to help with extending and enhancing the footbridge on the new Throop Trail. The Throop Trail connects the Meadow Trail with the Lake Bluff Trail and with the new 3-acre addition to the Preserve at the end of Hamilton Street Extension.

Genesee Land Trust plans to work on improvements to the footbridge in the spring of 2021 with the help of volunteers. To learn more about the Clean Trail Initiative Program from ExtremeTerrain and other projects that received funding, visit their website here.
