Before you reach for those Thanksgiving leftovers, join Genesee Land Trust for a mid-morning walk at Ganargua Creek Meadow Preserve. Skip the Black Friday lines and #OptOutside with family and friends in the great outdoors.

It’s a chance for a casual hike outdoors on a fresh air Friday on a moderately steep trail downhill, around the meadow, and returning up the long hill. The trail winds down a steep wooded hillside to a meadow bounded on one side by Ganargua Creek on the preserve protected in memory of Tim Johnson. Boots are recommended due to muddy sections of the trail.

Meeting spot is at the entrance at 886 Bunker Hill Drive, Macedon.
