Join other Genesee Land Trust volunteers as we work on the new woods trail and improve meadow habitat at Irene Gossin Nature Preserve in Penfield. On the new woods trail, we’ll rake leaves from the trail loop and add trail signs. To make the meadow better for birds and other wildlife, we’ll remove shrubs and small trees with loppers and hand saws. Please park at Rothfuss Park across the street. We will meet there before walking over to the trail.

We’ll bring the tools for the job and snacks. Please dress appropriately for working outside (sturdy footwear, long pants, layered clothing) and bring your own water bottle.
