Trail Keepers: Conkey Corner Park and El Camino Trail

  • Conkey Corner Park 184 Clifford Ave Rochester, NY, 14621 United States (map)

Trail Keepers visit Conkey Corner Park and the Thomas R. Frey Trail at El Camino this month for the final Trail Keepers event of the 2021 season. We will be focusing on trash pickup—cleaning up these well-loved spaces before the snow comes will make cleanup easier come next spring. After the event you are invited to join other volunteers and Genesee Land Trust staff for refreshments at Three Heads Brewing.

All ages and ability levels are encouraged to sign up. There will be a job for everyone. Please dress appropriately for working outdoors (sturdy footwear and long pants, sun and insect protection). We suggest you bring a water bottle and work gloves. Tools and snacks will be provided.

To attend you must sign up below. Please do not attend if you are not feeling well. An email reminder will be sent the week of the event with directions and parking details. Contact Kevin Farrell at kfarrell@geneseelandtrust.org with questions.

In accordance with the latest CDC guidance, masks are optional for fully vaccinated attendees. Please continue to be respectful of other attendees and social distance where it’s possible to do so. We know there are varying levels of comfort with these changes and ask for your patience while we navigate this transition together. We will also practice social distancing while together.
