Trail Keepers: Salmon Creek Nature Preserve

  • Salmon Creek Nature Preserve 492 Bennett Road Parma, NY United States (map)

Join Genesee Land Trust and Trail Keepers at the new Salmon Creek Nature Preserve in Parma. We’ll be making improvements to our newest trails, removing some invasive species, and enjoying the fall colors on this beautiful property. Salmon Creek Nature Preserve is a small but mighty preserve—its 29 acres fill in a missing piece of protected land to the surrounding Braddock Bay Wildlife Management Area Bennett Road Unit (operated by the NYSDEC). Come see the variety of habitats and long views this wonderful new preserve has to offer!

All ages and ability levels are encouraged to sign-up; there will be a job for everyone. Please dress appropriately for working outdoors (sturdy footwear, long pants, sun protection). We suggest you bring a water bottle and work gloves. Tools and snacks will be provided.

To attend you must sign-up below. Please do not attend if you are not feeling well. There are 15 spots available for this event. An email reminder will be sent the week of the event with directions and parking details. Contact Will Macaluso at wmacaluso@geneseelandtrust.org with questions.
