Join Genesee Land Trust and partners Crackerbox Palace for a weekend work party at historic Alasa Farms in Sodus. We’ll be walking the trails cutting vines, invasive shrubs, and helping out with other trail related projects. Please dress for the weather and be prepared for lots of walking! Land Trust staff will have tools for you to use but you’re welcome to bring a favorite pair of loppers or hand saw.
All ages and ability levels are encouraged to sign-up; there will be a job for everyone. Please dress appropriately for working outdoors (sturdy footwear, long pants, sun protection). We suggest you bring a water bottle and work gloves. Tools and snacks will be provided.
To attend you must sign up below. Please do not attend if you are not feeling well. An email reminder will be sent the week of the event with directions and parking details. Contact Kevin Farrell at kfarrell@geneseelandtrust.org with questions.
About Work Parties
Work Parties are weekend volunteer events where new and experienced volunteers work with Genesee Land Trust staff on trail and habitat improvement projects. If you’ve got some time on the weekends and an interest in giving back to your local conservation lands we invite you to join in on the work party fun.
