Cracker Box Palace at Alasa Farms invites you to join them in making their forest lands healthy! They’re currently working towards eliminating invasive species that reside on their conservation land and need your help. This project is part of joint efforts between Cracker Box Palace, Genesee Land Trust, and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
Please dress for the weather, wear appropriate footwear (there will be ice, uneven/hard ground, mud, etc.) and bring any tools such as handsaws, loppers, nippers, hand pruners, etc. There will be some available, but only a limited supply.
A warm up station will be available at the bunkhouse, to soak up some warmth and enjoy some hot cocoa or coffee.
This is the third of three volunteer events at Alasa Farms this winter. Fore more information or with questions, visit the event Facebook page here.
