Celebrate opening weekend at the new Salmon Creek Nature Preserve!
Join instructor Kaysha Bennett for a gentle 1-hour class in the meadow we planted to help grassland birds, bees, and butterflies thrive.
Rain or shine, the session will take place on a mown area under a large tent. The tent will be a medium distance from the parking lot along a flat, wide, grassy trail. All experience levels and physical abilities are welcome and will be accommodated. Please share any special needs when registering.
Bring your own mat and water bottle. Consider packing a blanket for final resting pose. Dress for the weather and wear walking shoes. Binoculars and snacks are encouraged for exploring the land and bird watching before or after class.
An ADA porta potty will be available near the parking lot. Parking spaces are limited - ride sharing is encouraged.
We recommend this session for adults of all ages and children 10+. If you wish to bring a younger child, please consider their ability to follow instructions and be peaceful during the class before you register them. Please leave your pets at home.
Space is limited to 20 attendees. Advance registration is required for every person.
